At Design2 Communications Limited we place great emphasis on the need to respect the privacy of our customers and Web site visitors.

Providing you with the information you need to make informed business decisions is very important to Design2 Group. Equally important to us is protection of data, and respecting your right to privacy.

The information you provide us will be used exclusively by the Design2 Group, and will not be made available to any third parties. We may, however, request feedback on our existing services and products in the future - this would only be in order to provide a more improved service.

We will not divulge sensitive information to parties not authorised by you, and will seek written permission before contacting a 3rd party in relation to your project.

We do make use of software allowing us to carry out aggregate analysis of traffic to our Web sites, but no individual visitor or customer may be identified in any report generated from this analysis. This information is used simply to allow us to improve the site in line with the needs of our customers and visitors.

We also make use of "cookies", small text files stored on your hard drive that allow a Web site to recognise you as a repeat visitor, or to store session information whilst you are searching a database. They enable you to avoid some of the more routine, repetitive tasks associated with using our Web sites. It is common practice for Web sites to make use of these files. We use them simply to extend the functionality of the service we offer, and do not collect or distribute the information to any third party for marketing or other purposes. You do however have the option of not accepting cookies through settings in your Web browser.

Design2 Comunications Ltd is a registered member of the United Kingdom Data Protection Act 1998, registration no: Z7185139. Project-related documentation is stored online in Design2’s extranet for staff and the coordinator from the client’s side to access, update, and share. The extranet is held in a secure server, and is accessible only through a valid username and password.

All communication - feedback, instant messages/chat files, project status is stored in the secure area to ensure only authorised staff are allowed to access it. The extranet database is backed-up on a daily basis to ensure everything is secure.

Since all our staff, and especially authorised team members, communicate and access information through the extranet, they are aware of the implications of data protection, and adequately trained in the extranet’s usage and maintenance. Employee contracts specifically mention the confidential nature of customer information, and their liabilities through breach of privilege.
